How to Use
Locate the interior blood vessel (the “quick”) before trimming. On light-coloured nails, the quick is visible inside the broad base of the nail. On dark nails, it can be seen on the nail’s underside. Always avoid trimming into the quick.

Hold your pet’s paw securely with one hand and the clipper in the other. With the clipper facing towards you, squeeze the rubber grip handles and slide the small lever near the coil spring to the right to unlock. Use the blade guide to position the nail, then trim a small amount at a time.
